Necessity of Being Part of MetaCentrum

To access and utilize the G2 e-INFRA CZ Openstack Cloud Brno Site, it is mandatory for every user to be registered with MetaCentrum. MetaCentrum is a national grid infrastructure operated by CESNET, providing extensive computational resources, data storage, and support for scientific research and development. By being a part of MetaCentrum, users gain access to a broad range of cloud resources and tools designed to support high-performance computing and advanced research activities.

Simply registering for e-INFRA CZ is no longer sufficient to access the G2 e-INFRA CZ Openstack Cloud Brno Site by 1.10.2024. Actually you must be registered for the MetaCentrum (which automatically creates an e-INFRA account for you). It is also neccessary to extend MetaCentrum registration every year by visit https://metavo.metacentrum.cz/en/myaccount/prodlouzeni.
